I was a wife and mom who, with no help, cleaned a large home, took care of a sick child, worked 2 jobs. I could not have made it without my slow cooker. My little boy would jump in the car after school and ask..’’hey mom what’s in the pot’’. Wish I had know these freezer meal.

I’ve noticed leaky zipper bags lately too. My work around is to use Souper Qubes to freeze my broth, and toss the already frozen broth, into the bag and pop that not the freezer.

Do you cook any of the meals direct out of freezer OR are you defrosting/thawing out first??

I am about to give birth and have pelvic symphysis and cannot stand for long periods of time but need to fill up my freezer so my husband can feed us while recovering from my c section! Why would you cook FROZEN veggies in an Instant Pot? Opening the bag, pouring them in and setting the ONE minute cook time seems not worth it. That's microwave territory. Fresh veggies are a different story. Yummy! I know she was just showing the basics. But still...

I recommend looking into vacuum sealers as an an alternative (you get freezer burn when there is excess air/moisture in your freezer bag). To be honest, I only watched the first 1/3 of this. I learned to make Swedish Meatballs from scratch this weekend and also learned to de-bone chicken this weekend. My Girlfriend and I cook together, but we try to save money, whenever possible, by making things ourselves. Not buying a bag of meatballs anymore (mine are better) and not buying a bag of chicken anymore (deboning and skinning makes chicken half the price, pretty quick too). Also, look into Souz Vide Cookers.

Followed it exactly and um no it's still milk.
